Lemon Balm Extract

Lemon Balm (aka. Melissa Officinalis) is an herb in the mint family that has been traditionally used for cognition, creating a perception of calmness, and improving anxiety-related insomnia. Lemon balm also contains a compound known as rosmarinic acid that is suggested to have antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.

  • Recommended dose: 1200mg or 1/2 tsp

    • Take as needed for anxiety, restlessness, or insomnia​

  • In powdered form, Lemon Balm is best brewed in hot water and stirred vigorously to dissolve (small whisk or fork recommended). 

  • Will take about 30-45 minutes after ingestion to notice symptom improvement.

  • Some reported adverse effects include nausea, gastrointestinal distress, headache, allergic reaction and dizziness.
