Ginkgo biloba (aka. maidenhair) is the most commonly ingested herb used to improve overall brain health. In some studies, Ginkgo Biloba has been demonstrated to slow cognitive decline in patients with dementia, improve mood, reduce anxiety, and reduce symptoms of ADHD. However, these benefits are either somewhat unreliable or need further research.
Ginkgo biloba contains numerous powerful antioxidants and can reduce inflammation, which may be the primary drivers behind its many claimed health benefits.
