Holy Basil (aka. Tulsi)

Holy Basil was traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine to help with a variety of ailments. Its Indian name Tulsi means "the incomparable one". It is classified as an "adaptogenic" herb, meaning it may help one better adapt to life's stresses. Additionally, some research has shown that it may help improve protect the liver and boost anti-oxidant activity. Interestingly, Holy Basil may also increase libido while simultaneously decreasing fertility.
